What's new in GL III Release 5:

As usual, we’ve been reluctant to add “features” to GL III, and we’ll continue that way. We didn’t add many bells or whistles to Release 5. Most of the changes are in the underlying code – changes that make GL III run faster and work better.

1.      The most important change is the ability to create income statements and balance sheets in languages other than English.

2.      The default backup pathname is no longer length limited.

3.      You can limit the ledger path display on the main screen to just the ledger name.

4.      You can show sub accounts grouped under their master accounts in the Account List on the main, voucher entry screen.

Updates:

Version 5.1.0: Adds the capability to view or print account details for a single month in the current year.

Version 5.1.1: Restricts the right column in printed reports to the logical right margin set by the printer.
